The Boston email scandal shook town hall during this significant election season. So we went to some email mavens for some technical research on this story. We chatted to Barracuda Networks, a California-based company well known for its spam and virus firewalls. The company also offers storage, backup and e-mail archiving solutions. The debate originated from a Boston World request to study emails from advisers to Mayor Thomas M. Menino. But town hall could only account for eighteen emails sent or received in a 6 month period from Michael J. Kineavy, Menino’s Cupboard CEO of policy and planning and one of his nearest advisers.
